If you haven't changed your hair or clothing style in years, now may be the time.
Not only can you get bored with your appearance, but before you know it, you can
be looking really out of date. Without having to go out and buy an entirely new
wardrobe, there are ways to update your look. One old trend that is still fun
to try today is to have a clothing exchange party. If you all can bring lots of
things to trade, you can leave feeling like you just went shopping, without spending
the money. If shopping isn't your thing, or all of your money is going towards
a savings account for one of those gorgeous new Central Toronto homes that are on
the market, then this is a savvy way of getting new clothes. In terms of making
a style change, don't be afraid to try on things you wouldn't normally imagine
yourself wearing. Often times people are surprised at how something looks once
they try it on.
If you like your clothes and were looking for a totally different kind of change,
what about decorating your body? No piercing's or tattoos are necessary, unless
that's your thing. Just like you can decorate
with words in your home, you can decorate with words or stencil on your
skin. Henna is fun and it doesn't require any permanent choice making. Get someone
experienced in applying it to do a little design somewhere that you like. It's
a safe way to try out the look without committing to too much.
Of course, changing your hairstyle can be a great way to wow everyone and get
noticed. Doing a big change can be intimidating, but if you go to a good stylist
you should be able to talk with them about it and trust their skills. If, for
any reason, they don't pull off the color or cut you were looking for, tell
them. A good stylist should want to make sure you leave happy, and will hopefully
change and fix it before you leave. You don't want to do a big change like this
before something important though. If you have an interview coming up to get
your dream job in Realtor web design, maybe wait until after the interview to
do anything drastic.
If you're really having a hard time imagining what to change, maybe trying
to figure it out in a non conventional way might help. Pretend your laundry
hampers are like basket strainers. Fill them with things that represent your
style, and then filter out everything that you don't like. When you see what
you have left over, put it all together. You can see what you're left with,
and where you might need to fill in some gaps. It might turn out that you realize
you don't like any of your pants or skirts anymore, and you need to go out and
find a great new pair of jeans that will help you feel more current.
The important thing to remember is, don't be worried about trying new things.
If you don't like the change you make, you can always go back to something safer.
But you may surprise yourself. Just like when you paint with a bold new color
in your home or luxury condominium Toronto, it can be exciting and refreshing.
Step out of the old you, and into a new 'do!
